- Blackstone will broker sales or purchases of emission allowances on the European emissions market. Through our international partners we have access to the world environmental markets, to direct byuers and sellers.
- Prices. The price of European emission allowances fluctuates daily and depends on multiple factors, including weather outlook in Europe, prices of electricity, gas and coal, and political developments. Prices are often volatile as the climate markets are maturing slowly. However, our clients can be assured that with our partners we will always be in a position to get the best prices the market has to offer.
- Type of Transactions. We can structure spot or derivative trades for our clients, including forwards. At any given point in time we know the conditions on the market and will guarantee optimal prices for given transactions.
- Settlement. Standard payment settlement is a delivery of a payment to client’s bank within 10 days after closing.
